  • What does a normal meeting look like?

Meetings begin with Vespers in the chapel. A short social time follows with wine and cheese available. The rest of the meeting is then devoted to discussing an important topic in the field of education. Sometimes speakers are brought in. Other times members break into small groups and discuss a reading prepared beforehand.

  • How often are meetings?

We meet once a month during the academic year from 7:30-9:00pm, normally on Thursdays.

  • Do you do anything else besides meetings?

Besides our monthly meetings during the school year, we have plans to host retreats for teachers in the summer and winter, as well as sponsor various lectures pertaining to education.

  • Do I have to be a teacher in order to join?

While most of our members are PK-12 teachers, it isn't a requirement. School administrators, counselors, librarians, secretaries, curriculum developers, and others are welcome to apply.

  • Do I have to teach at a Catholic school in order to join?

No. Public or charter school teachers are just as welcome to apply as Catholic school teachers.

  • Do members pay dues?

No. Thanks to our generous benefactors, costs of operation are covered.
